Fantastic Transcripts is a fantastic place to work. We offer a casual
work environment in our downtown Boston offices.
For our part-time jobs, we offer great flexibility in scheduling - work when
you can - and free refreshments.

Part-Time Transcriptionists
We are always looking for part-time transcriptionists to work in our downtown
Boston offices.
Hours are flexible, the work environment is casual, and the Pepsi is free.
We pay $10 to $12 to start, and overtime after 40 hours. Our transcriptionists
work anywhere from zero hours to 40+ hours a week depending upon their
availability and the amount of work we get in.
You can determine your own work schedule, but we are especially looking for
people who can work full days, mornings, nights, and weekends.
You must type a minimum of 60 words per minute, transcribe a minimum of 35
words per minute, be comfortable using a computer, and you must pass a
transcription aptitude test in our offices.
Our transcriptionists have a wide range of backgrounds. Some of our best
transcriptionists had no previous transcription experience, but they did
have enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and an ability to understand business, finance,
academic or high-tech material.
Our office is standardized
on Windows XP and
Microsoft Word 2000 with docments saved in the Word 95 format.
Full-time positions are possible, if interested. We promote from within,
and all of our current staff started out as transcriptionists.
Fantastic Transcripts is located next to a MBTA Orange Line station
exit just one block from Washington Crossing near Macy's, two blocks from
the Park Street "T" Station and a few blocks from South Station and the Blue
Line's State Street Station.

Part-Time Proofreaders/Copy
Editors
At the present time, we do not have any openings for just proofreaders/copy
editors. However, we are interested in hearing from people who can both
transcribe and proofread.
If you can type at least 60 wpm and have an interest in learning how to
transcribe audio, please feel free to consider working for
Fantastic Transcripts.
Pay is $10 to $12 an hour to start. Hours are flexible, dress is casual.

Work-at-Home Transcriptionists and Proofreaders
in the Boston area
Currently, we do not have any opportunities for Work-at-Home Transcriptionists
and Proofreaders in the Boston area.
Because of the rapid turnarounds our clients demand, most of our work is
done in our offices and it is difficult to find projects that have longer
turnaround times.
However, we are interested in hearing from your if you can easily make

Work-at-Home Transcriptionists and Proofreaders
outside of Boston
Currently, we are only working with people who live in the Boston area.
However, we are taking e-mail addresses of people interested in working from
home outside of Boston. If you sign up to be on our list, we will contact
you when we can offer work-at-home employment again.
