Where we can, we will also scour the Internet for research on the subject
of your conference and pull together lists of the spellings of the names
of speakers as well as their companies and products.
Because we have 11 typing stations with the ability to schedule two shifts
seven days a week, as well as being able to have people work at home, no
job is too large for us to handle.
We usually start sending back proofread transcripts as soon as the next day,
and we keep the transcripts flowing until the job is finished. If you are
posting the transcripts to your Web site or having them printed, you can
begin work immediately instead of having to wait until the job is completed.
Because we specialize in difficult terminology, we usually transcribe most
jobs at our regular $28 an hour rate. We only charge
our $34 an hour rate when the terminology is really
complex or if the subject is medical.
The cost for a one-hour transcript is approximately
$182, depending upon the audio quality of the material.
Harder-to-hear audio may take longer to transcribe.
We require a valid credit card number to charge the work to at the time of
completion. We can work with you if your credit card has a daily maximum
limit, or if you need to span the charges over several cards. We will also
accept a bank cheque as an advance payment. Please keep in mind we will not
release any transcripts without payment. We have been burned a few times
in the past, and using credit cards keeps everyone honest.
