Transcripts
If you have audio you need transcribed, look no further than
Fantastic Transcripts. We handle everything from
such common formats as micro and standard cassettes, to exotic formats such
as digital dictation and Macromedia Flash file formats, and everything in
between, such as Webcasts, teleconferences, four-track legal tapes and more.
If you can send send it to us or tell us how to download it, we can transcribe
it. We can handle just about any format of audio or video, whether on tape,
CD, over the Internet or over the telephone.
To be honest, transcription equipment does not exist for some formats and
what we have to do is transfer the material to a format we can handle, such
as audio or video cassettes.
We usually do not charge extra for transfering material from most common
formats, however for professional formats such as DAT, DV or Beta SP, we
do ask that you make audio cassette or VHS copies, and we can transcribe
from those. Or we can have a local production house make copies, but
unfortunately, transfer fees can be quite high ($100+/hour) and it may add
several days to our transcription time.
