Do you want your video tape library to join the digital age?
Or do you have videos you would like to stream across your company's intranet?
Now you can have up to 74 minutes of digital video and audio encoded into
MPEG-1 and saved to a Video CD.
Video CDs are regular CD-ROMs that are playable on any PC with a CD-ROM drive
and Windows Media Player. They are also playable on most new DVD players,
such as those from Apex, Panasonic, Pioneer, Sony, Toshiba and others.
The video files can also be stored to a computer hard drive and streamed
over your corporate intranet as MPEG video playback. No longer do you need
to reserve your company's VCR when you want to play a video, since they can
be played back on any PC.
Video CDs have just about the same quality as VHS tapes (240 lines of horizontal
resolution), and they will not wear out or degrade over time. CD-ROMs also
have an estimated lifespan of 200 years versus an estimated 20-year,
100-play life span of VHS tape. VCDs can also be copied without any
loss of quality.
Video CDs are a world-wide standard and they are more popular than VHS in
China and in many parts of Asia, which is why many DVDs also play VCDs.
Just send us your video on VHS, Betamax, DVD or as an .AVI file and we will
encode it onto a Video CD!
Our rate is $75 per hour of video. We offer discounts
for volume jobs.
